Again: MSG and LIFE “no valid 64bit aax plugins”

Hi
Bought LIFE and downloaded it, including the latest version of MSG and STRUCTURE. Upon starting up Pro Tools 12 on Windows 10 (both are up to date to the latest versions), LIFE and MSG are considered “no valid 64bit aax plugins”. I uninstalled and reinstalled them with administrator priviliges: no changes. Please advise and update the plugins, so they work properly.
Kind regards, Joerg

Forgot to mention: this has happened before with Structure and MSG, Structure seems to work now, but MSG is back to \”no valid 64bit AAX plugin\” (plus LIFE now as a new plugin). That\’s why I wrote \”Again:…\” in my headline. One thought pops up as for LIFE: could it be, that this happens, because the plugin is unregistered. Other companies have the registration process happening up on startup of Pro Tools, when Pro Tools scans the plugins… Just a thought, that Pro Tools might consider unregistered AAX-plugins as \”not valid\”. So I fired up Pro Tools, let MSG and LIFE NOT be moved to \”invalid plugins\” and registered LIFE by loading Blue Cat\’s Patchwork and inserting LIFE and MSG as a VST-plugin. But that did not help, either. MSG and LIFE are still considered as \”not valid AAX plugins\”. How should user rights of the folders and dll\’s be? Maybe, these are causing the problem?

Hi Dave
It is Windows 10 Pro 1803
But I have had that issue with other versions as well – just don’t remember, whether it went back until Win7Pro, but for sure Win10Pro – Structure was the first you could solve back then with an update…
Thanks for looking into this!

Hi Joerg, I’ll look into this. I’ve not had any issues at my end, but will look into this today for you.

Can I get the exact version update number for windows 10, then I can build a virtual machine and try to recreate your setup. If you can go to System > About and on there it will give the version number from there.
